MMM - Wish Upon a Wendellian Star

February 2nd, 2010 | Sheexy | Filed under Seikens

For those of you who frequent our Remix section you’ve probably already heard this track before, but for those of you who don’t know about our remix section I’d like to ask first: how did you miss the remix section when it’s up on our top navigation bar? and second: you should really check it out.

This one is a remix of the music used in Wendel in FFA, and it’s pretty awesome. Also the name makes me crack up, because every time I start to whistle the Wendel music I end up whistling “When You Wish Upon a Star” in the end. You can get this track from our remixes page or from the OC Remix Page.

Happy New Year!

December 31st, 2009 | Sheexy | Filed under Seikens, Shopping

- Hey everybody, it’s New Year’s Eve! There aren’t any good items for sale on eBay this week, so instead of linking goodies we just want to say we hope you had a great year and that you have a great next year too!

- Happy New Year!

- Happy New Year!

- Well guys, I did it. I kept my New Year’s resolution from last year to do a Shopping Channel update every day!

- But what about all those times when the update only said “oh there are no good items today”?

- Yeah, isn’t that like cheating?

- No way, c’mon. That was out of my control, and technically I still put an update up on the site.

- Are you going to keep the same resolution this year?

- Not sure yet, gonna have to think about that. What are you guys doing for your resolutions?

- I resolve to keep dancing!

- I resolve to still be a cat.

- Figures. Well, see you all next year, and Happy New Year again!

MMM - The Fairy Child

November 30th, 2009 | Sheexy | Filed under Seikens, Mana Music Monday

Kassidy’s wife had a baby! It’s a little girl, born at 11:10 weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces or 3460 grams. She doesn’t have a name yet, but Kassidy will probably let us all know what it is when it’s decided. Congratulations Kassidy!

So in order to celebrate I’ve picked out The Fairy Child from Secret of Mana, it’s the happy theme used whenever Salamando pops up or when you fix Kakkara’s water. And look, we have three versions of it!

I wonder what Kassidy’s daughter will think if she ever learns that a website celebrated her birth by listening to old videogame music.

We should maybe keep this a secret from her.

Shopping Channel

November 19th, 2009 | Sheexy | Filed under Seikens

- Ok, this update is coming through on dial-up, so if we give up halfway and just leave don’t be surprised.

- I’m leaving right now.

- Ok Mr. Moti, it’s just you and me. Moti? Hey where’s he at?

- Just us.

- Alright Lil’ Cactus. Let’s get this over with. I’d like to start by showing This Auction for an English copy of Seiken Densetsu 3. Remember everyone

Seiken Densetsu 3 was NEVER released in English!

Don’t fall for this scam!

-Sneaky scammers.

- That they are. Ok, well here are three guides for pretty cheap. They are all pretty good, especially this Dawn of Mana Map Guide, it’s got some decent artwork in it if you can’t afford to get the CoM and DoM Artbook. Then there is this Seiken Densetsu 3 Adventure Guidebook which is ok. Not as good as the Basic Guidebook though. And of course there is the classic Legend of Mana Ultimania Guide.

-Fun comics buy them.

- Yeah, those comics are pretty cool. I guess that’s it though, eBay is almost as slow as my internet connection.

- Bits and bytes.

- Yeah, so, I’m gonna go. Bye Lil’ Cactus.

- I’m still a cactus.

Mana Music Monday

November 17th, 2009 | Sheexy | Filed under Seikens

Ok, got another track from Dawn of Mana this week, but instead of being a nice calm one like last time I decided to pick one of the boss tracks.

Mana Music Monday

November 9th, 2009 | Sheexy | Filed under Seikens

Ahh school is getting incredibly hectic around here, so I don’t have much to say in this update. One of my classes has gotten to the point where instead of coming to class the teacher is letting us skip it so we have time to work on the multiple projects we have due soon.
I’ve picked a nice soft and calm track, I think everyone can appreciate music like that.

So sit back and relax a bit to this one:

Dawn of Mana ~ Opening Theme - Ryuichi Sakamoto

Unfortunately I spent all my relaxation time working on this update because my internet connection is so bad right now, but hey, what can you do?

Happy Halloween!

October 31st, 2009 | Sheexy | Filed under Seikens

I hope you have a spooktacular day today, or something along those lines.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get my update I wanted for today done due to schoolwork and the likes, but you can still have your candy!

See, we’re one of the cool houses here at Seikens, we don’t just give you one piece of candy we give you two. That’s because we’re nice. And also, those aren’t just any candy and chocolate, they are the official Secret of Mana artwork for those two items. I think it’s really fun to know that the Chocolate has little Rabites stamped into it. Anyways, these and other official arts will be making their way into the Secret of Mana section as soon as I get some time on my hands again!

Happy Halloween!

Shopping Channel Explosion

October 29th, 2009 | Sheexy | Filed under Seikens

- Whoa, there are a ton of good deals on eBay this week, so we’re gonna try to compact this as much as we can by running through items game by game! Ok Mr. Moti, you’re up first with Final Fantasy Adventure!

- I’d like to start off by linking you to this Japanese Copy of the Game, it’s at a pretty good price considering how rare it is! You should pick up this Seiken Densetsu Basic Guidebook too, it’s really cheap! It’s got all the awesome hand drawn items, weapons, armor and monsters in it! In fact, you could get From This Seller too!

-Secret of Mana has a basic guidebook like that as well. Here Is One for a good price, and the shipping is free as well! This other Secret of Mana Guidebook isn’t as good as the first one I linked to, but it has small one panel comics showing how to fight the bosses, and that is neat. If you want the map for the game you can Get the Map Alone or you can Get the Map with the Cartridge! Then you can buy The Manual and English Guidebook for your collection, and round it off with the Nintendo Power Poster!

- Great job Neko, that’s a ton of Secret of Mana stuff! As far as Seiken Densetsu 3 goes all I found was this Seiken Densetsu 3 Guidebook. It’s not as good as the other two guidebooks, but at this price you can’t complain!

- Now we’re running out of stuff! How about music? Get the Legend of Mana Soundtrack for a good price! Also you might look into getting this Pandora’s Vox 2 Doujin CD. I didn’t know this existed, but the first one is good so I imagine the second one would be too!

- I guess I’d better wrap it up here! You can’t go wrong buying the Children of Mana and Dawn of Mana Artbook. It’s really one of the best pieces of merchandise you can get.

- See you next week everyone, have a happy Halloween!
