As long as SquareEnix and/or Tri-Ace haven't confirmed it I wouldn't trust what any site says about the platform release, and at least for right now neither of them have said anything.

Yeah I've known about it's relation to alchemy for sometime, which is why I've been interested in games with elements like Seiken Densetsu, Tales of and Atelier Iris. I've never seen an article on Mana that was as interesting as that though.
