One step at a time, yo... If you concentrate on scenes, you can use them as stepping-stones to a full feature. I know I get bogged down when I pick at a project in Logic if I realize how much more there is left-- it can get overwhelming, fast.

I'm getting the impression that D'Kelli is one of the most pointless characters in terms of SD3/HoM lore...

聖劍HOMでは既にこの世に生を受けているが, フレイムカーンに引き取られ新たな人生を歩むことになった. I'm holding off on rendering this one, since I'm sure the translation was botched. Hawkeye has no relation with Lugar - that's Kevin. And he's got nothing to do with Neko. Both true (though not in the Japanese text there); here's an off-the-cuff r...

I skipped Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 as I'm not much into disaster genres, and watched the entirety of it today. I don't like the opening theme (sounded too much like T.M. Revolution for me), but that's about all I dislike about the show. Having played Left 4 Dead hardened me against the requisite level of...

Probably true, but I don't have the components to spare for another PC (or the power drain), so I wanted to minimize the footprint for a virtual machine.

Magus - What kind of dependency hell? Are you trying to install some exotic or bleeding-edge stuff? I'm not sure exactly. I think it may be that I force-installed a bleeding-edge app onto a version that already exists, but is older. Or, I tried to run something that required a certain kernel versio...

The game was specific in saying only those affected by Anise's mirror had modified memories. I don't think the Nightswan crew's allies were affected. Well, as my violin teacher said, "you're right, I'm full of beans." Still, I think it's conceivable that, since Joster expanded the fortres...

Is it just my imagination or is manaman's colors more vibrant? I don't know if DeadWolf uses Snow Leopard, but that may be the difference. Apple turned up the contrast ratio (or something) to match Windows'. Edit: Oh, right, browser. On Linux/Mac, I just use Firefox. I suppose I could use Camino or...

Actually, it has an episode or two left this season. I decided to jump the gun a bit because I haven't posted here in forever and Shangri-La ended.

Ah! This might clear up the "Oracle" confusion: しんたく 神託 an oracle; a divine message. So an "oracle" as in a message from t3h godz, not as in the conveyor of said message (in English, "oracle" can be used to mean the message or the messenger). It looks like Joster receiv...

I was originally going to leave it at an extended version of chapter eight because I couldn't stomach bringing him back to life. Characters randomly returning to life (I'm looking at you, Code Geass.) drives me insane. You think that's bad, they brought back Mu La Flaga in the second season of Gund...

Gaming tower: XP Pro Laptop: OS X 10.5.7 (early 2008 Macbook Pro) Secondary tower (mom's compy): FreeBSD 7.0 I don't know why, but I almost always end up in some form of dependency hell when I use Linux, even with apt/Synaptic. I'm sure I'm just not used to the tools because I'm coming from BSD. But...

Still watching K-On, on ep 9 right now. SPOILER And the coolest part about the intro isn't that there's added animation for Nakano, it's that the opening song has an added guitar track to the mix. Subtle, but really cool when I heard it. It's actually an additional guitar solo/part that represents ...
