It's actually possible to fall asleep with your eyes partially opened. If you do, you will have dreams based on the objects you subconsciously see. That's what my phycology teacher said when I asked him why I always had nightmares as a child. Children tend to sleep with their eyes partially opened. Similar to rabbits which rest half of their brain at a time. That's why they always sleep with one eye open.
I think it's called the cresent moon... something. The muscles in infants eyes are not very developed so their eyes don't always completely close. They are also scared of the dark so when they see strange things, it causes nightmares for them. It's hard to tell that they are opened at all but they are sometimes. And that ends my facts. ^-^;
Usally when I'm too tired to have Lucid dreams, I dream of either something lame or somewhat insightful and poetic. Last night I dreampt that I was in a ninjutsu dojo and some dragon painting came to life and beat up all of the students including me. The sensei also got it pretty bad... After that I was in the middle of a desert and some Nazca statue was talking in a strange hum (this was probably because my computer was on again).
Strange... This is why I prefer Lucid dreams over normal ones. ^-^; Heh, I remember that one in the middle of a battle field when some commander was yelling at me to do something and I had no idea what. Nor what he tell me what when I asked him. Jerk... My father also got a tooth removed when I dreampt that I got a tooth knocked out by a thrown stone. It happened to me in the dream yet my father got it removed for real. Heh, I saved up on my replies until I had a lot to say. Interesting topic!
