Hah, I'll never understand the point of multiple monitors. You guys can't tell me that you do something so grandiose and important that you need multiple monitors to contain it all. It's nothing more than a geek thing. XD

Er, I monitor multiple datacentres at the same time and have to react to critical alerting and graphs for each of these in minutes, does that count as a justification?

For me it was like "Hey! I have this monitor laying around doing nothing..." and I hooked it up to my laptop for multiple display.
