I still haven't checked it out, but it looks like a good time. I just haven't had much time or energy for games, lately. Well, at least not much extra time.
I never played the game you're referring to, but let me assure you that Sribblenauts is amazing! Because you can interact with all the objects in the way you would expect to be able to interact with them, the game is really like a giant sandbox. But, if that's not your thing, the puzzle and action games offer enough classic gameplay challenges to make this one I'll be involved with for a while.
I think this is really one you should try or buy--just don't pass it up,

Drawn to Life was a really bad fetch quest platformer that let's you draw your items. It was developed by the same people who made Scribblenauts.

I got this yesterday, and it's been fun. : D So far I've thrown a meteor at a butterfly, poisoned a piranha(I think it was one?) and helped clean a park with a flamethrower. Should try using that Large Hadron Collider soon. XD
DeadWolf- I sort of hated Drawn to Life too, but you really should give Scribblenauts a try. : )
I've found the almost completely touched based thing pretty annoying. Instead of interacting with things I've been running around, throwing things, etc. Very frustrating. Other than that, the puzzles are kinda easy :/ It's a pretty cool game though.
