Megaman Star Force-They finally get rid of the netbattle aspect however this version goes further into the future where EM waves surround earth. The plot is good/decent and the art style takes a weird turn though I didn't mind it too much. The anime has some comedy and the same Megaman action that makes the franchise very popular.

I never saw the X version, when did it air? Also was the plot the same as the games for the SNES?

There were two brief series based on the original Rockman/Mega Man. One had the characters calling the Blue Bomber "Rockman", the other called him "Mega Man". Both were Japanese, so that little detail was a bit bizarre.

EDIT: Since the staff seems determined to have someone die, I've dropped School Days.

Yesterday I have watched Voices of Distant Star. One great OVA anime. A very sad story about a couple who is seperated from each and the only communication is mail. But the girl travels through space so each mail is taking longer than the last one to deliver.
Its sad since the last mail took more than 8 years to deliver to the boy, and they miss each other so much.
And it didnt end so well for one of them...

Distant Star? I never saw that one but based on what you said about it, it sounds kind of like Full Moon Wa sa ga shi te. That anime also had a sad ending to it which is strange because the manga had a somewhat better ending to it that also made more sense. Same thing with Ai shi te ruze Baby.

If anyone ones wondering why I'm talking about anime made for girls now its because my older sister made me watch them with her. I couldn't refuse her... Refusing her is like sealing your death, you don't want to do it! Y T.V took out Gundam Seed, now I'm as bored as ever. Give me more animes and mangas!

Edit: Why did the seikens make a censored monster thing when I typed wa sa ga shi te and ai shi te ruze together? Like this: wasagashite aishiteruze
These aren't adult animes, I don't watch those. These are rated E for everyone with no violence or nudity. How strange, I've never seen this before.

Oh I see, but I didn't think it would censor that word if it was part of a single word. That's a useful thing to have though, I'm tired of seeing swearing in fourms. I don't even want to click on a search display for a fourm anymore after all I've seen...

Ah, well anyways as I said they took off Gundam Seed half way on it's second time on T.V but it seems they have got three anime shows every day (Inuyasha, Naruro and Bleach) and only about five or six on Friday. Gundam Seed Destiny and the Fullmetal Alchemist is still there but I liked Gundam Seed more then the Destiny one. They re-copy the same stuff over and over again and only make it sadder. They should cut back a little on the character deaths!

'ey! That's shiitake (or shītake) to you.

... and to stay on-topic...

One more comment about School Days and I'll shut up: recently, a man was murdered by his daughter with an axe she bought specifically for that purpose. As a result, the TV networks pulled the final episode of School Days (EDIT: Higurashi was unaffected-- that was a Youtube rumor), as it has murder in its original stories (and School Days is likely going for the worst possible murder scenario, although the suicide scene is even more disturbing). No word on rescheduling, but horror fans in Japan screamed with one voice. Maybe.

EDIT: Okay, seriously last comment. Both murder scenarios in one episode does not a horror make. Sorry, Hitchcock ownz yer ass, Japan.

Next season's lineup seems dumb and boring (but then, I'm drastically cutting down on my consumption, so I didn't do any research). However, a few recognizable titles that may interest some of you:

MS Gundam 00: From what little I've read about this new Gundam, this is essentially Gundam meets Command & Conquer Generals. Yup, since they (or the director of the previous series) essentially trashed Cosmic Era, they're going to try to reinvent themselves... again. I don't know about you, but I'm a "fool me once, shame on you..." sort of person. The real shame is, they bowed to network pressure and cancelled X 11 episodes early.
CLANNAD: For those of you who enjoyed the likes of Air and Kanon, this is Key's earlier work (and visual novel). I never got into Air that much (fractured story didn't play well with me), so I'm not sure I'll be picking this one up.
D.C. II: No, you don't need to watch the original to watch this one (I think). Only one character from the first Da Capo should return in this anime, and I wasn't that thrilled with the game's story. The first Da Capo was great, its "expansion pack" anime was meh; if the pattern holds, this one will be meh with a good orchestral soundtrack.
ef - a tale of memories: Interesting-looking anime about either a girl who's good at sports or a shojo manga artist who's a high school boy. Yet another one based on a visual novel in the style of Key. EDIT: made by minori, who also made Wind ~a breath of heart~ (which was itself simultaneously made into 2 separate series by 2 different studios, oddly enough).
You're Under Arrest (Taiho Shichauzo) Full Throttle: Either a remake of the original or a sequel. Never watched the original, so your guess is as good as mine.

Rumor has it that Haruhi will be expanded with another season, but nothing yet on the fan calendar.

One more episode left for several series; Nanoha's 3rd episode ends on yet another "yay all teh good guyz survived" note, although one of the lead characters may die in a somewhat related way. Excellent action scenes this season, and as always, Nana Mizuki is a magnificent singer.

What really bothers me is that animes are usally changed from the original mangas... a lot! Fillers are very annoying (only very few are good) and plot cuts, changes or additions are also usally very bad and annoying.

Just look at how awesome the FMA manga is and how crappy the anime is. There's so many character deaths and plot changes, it really freakin annoys me! Just leave the darn thing how it is!

Well anyways, I'm watching Yuu Yuu Hakusho again along with Flame of Recca and some others too. Man, I really got to say that their both awesome! I like Flame of Recca slightly more because of the manga. The anime is also good but the changes are once again... you guessed it! Damn right ANNOYING!

I have a message to the people who make so many great mangas and animes: Leave the darn animes the way the original mangas were!!! Geez, what is it with all your changes? Stop it already, its enough!

I'm actually reading more mangas then watching animes now! Which might not be so bad but I also read the English captions/subtitles while watching the animes in the original un-edited/un-cut Japanese version. So, its roughly about the same amount of stuff to read. Anyone have any opinions on this? Which one you like more: mangas-animes or why they change it so badly? It really bothers me as you can probably get the idea by now. ^-^;

Dragon Ball was an except though. I actually like the anime more than the manga which is really surprising. Even most of the fillers were good! O_O Heh and that's why its my favorite anime/manga of all time followed by DBZ and the rest of the ones I mentioned (and may have not)! :)

And now to sleep... I've been reading mangas all night. Flame of Recca manga, you rock really hard (except for a few sad parts which I know were nessecary to the plot). Yah!... *Falls dead asleep on keyboard... yet again.*

*Mumbles in sleep: give me back my animes and mangas! Why did you cheap, dumb YTV people take it away from me? WHY?! I want to go to the States... Mumble*

I didnt find FMA anime that bad. It was a lot deaths in it. But still I havent read the manga yet, maybe I should start doing so.

Gundam 00 looks nice, only watched 2 eps. But I am so used to the Seed universe that it feels kinda awkward seing a new gundam universe with new characters and that. The seed mode is gone >.<
