Seiken Densetsu brilliantly remixed OST

Post by nightblade » Thu Jul 29, 2010 1:43 pm

Hey all,

Nightblade aka Lise-chaser is here! :P. I stumbled across this guy called "Aether" on youtube, some of you may have heard of him(I hope). His remixes stay extremely close to the original tracks, and he adds in little tidbits that I daresay are even better than the originals in some cases, and i already know I'm treading on sacred ground when I say so. This guy's great; I'm sure most of you will agree with me!

The rest of his music is in the related vids, so give it a listen! :)

I fear I've incurred the wrath of the seikens community...うはwwwwww.
I didn't explain myself properly, hehe. I was talking in the sense of quality, not arrangement. Adding in HQ environmental sounds, strings and native instruments compared to a 16-bit song is a bit unfair, but that's really the only way the SD3 OST can be bettered. I may have overreacted but not everyone wants to listen to 16-bit songs, as glorious as they are whilst in-game. Plus I said for some, not all :P

I really like Aether's stuff. The Temple of Mana track is my absolute favorite version of the song.

The remixes of the egg catching song and the singing wind are not that good in my opinion.

Overall really great album.

Album isn't bad, but 'tis only a rearrange, and not all the tracks were done too well.

wow this album is so old I just heard about it today. There are a few great remixes but there are not so good songs too.

What tracks didn't you like? Been forever since I've listened to this I'll have to pick it up again to see what I think about the ones you don't like. Can't remember if I was critical of any.
