Hi everybody, i am a big French fan of the Seiken's series and there is actually a sequel made by fans called (Memories Of Mana) previously in Portuguese but NOW translated in English(unfortunately a few of dialogs aren't translated but very few don't worry ^^ ) download it here :

I'm the translator, actually. Hi! You mentioned some of the dialog wasn't translated. That doesn't surprise me because of how "hidden" the dialog can seem inside the program. Do you remember specifically where, though? So I can fix those?

Hi, thank you one-hundred times ! i just finished the first part but i remember there are Portuguese dialogs before and after the fight against Koren:


BEFORE

Koren : Ha ha ha... Que esperanças você tem agora?!

Angela : Eu tenho toda a esperança que preciso! O suficiente para não permitir que você saia deste mundo!

Koren : É mesmo? Ha ha ha ! Eu estou com o poder de todos os Livros de Mana! Que chances você tem agora minha

querida Angela?

Angela : ...eu...

Koren : Foi o que eu pensei! Adeus Angela! Você tomara o meu lugar aqui neste mundo!

Duran (The Traitor ^^) : Angela! Não perca as esperanças!

Koren : !? ! O que!? Duran? !

Angela : Duran? Onde você está

Duran : Eu estou no Templo Lendário! E estou me comunicando com você através de meu espírito!

Koren : Então você ousou ir atrás do artefato sagrado! ? !

Duran : Sim e eu consegui! Eu consegui a lendária Espada de Mana!

Koren : ...Ha ha ha! Tarde demais! Eu já tenho todos os Livros de Mana e nem a Espada de Mana poderá ajudar

agora!

Duran : O poder da Espada de Mana contém todas as esperanças de todos os seres que existem no mundo!

Duran : Não se preocupe Angela! Eu lhe mandarei o poder da Espada de Mana!

Angela : Que estranho...Eu sinto uma aura quente! Eu sinto que minha esperança foi renovada!

Koren : Isso é inútil! Você não poderá me derrotar com isso!

Angela : Não tenha tanta certeza disso!

Duran : Angela eu lhe desejo sorte! Infelizmente a minha jornada no Templo Lendário não acabou ainda!

Angela : ...Duran... que lugar é esse afinal...? O Templo Lendário...

Koren : Não sei como aquele tolo consegui entrar no Templo Lendário mas isso não tem importância no momento

Koren : Prepare-se Angela! Vou queimá-la junto com este mundo e assim retornar a vida novamente!


AFTER

Koren : ...mas como...? ... eu possuía todos os Livros de Mana...

Angela : Koren... por que todo esse trabalho...? Por que...deseja sair tão desesperadamente deste mundo...

Koren : ...Angela...este mundo é um lugar amaldiçoado...

Koren : ...eu... eu ... não suporto viver neste inferno...

Angela : Inferno...? !

Koren : Você apenas sabe da metade da historia! Todas as pessoas que vem neste mundo são na verdade almas

ruins!

Koren : Incluindo Celestia e o Gato! Não existe almas boas neste lugar! Todas as pessoas deste lugar são más

pessoas!

Koren : Eu estou aqui porque eu sou uma pessoa má! E mereço ficar aqui!

Koren : E você Angela estava trabalhando o tempo todo para Celestia ! O que ela quer é o mesmo que eu quero!

Koren : Dê os Livros de Mana para ela que ela fará o mesmo que eu fariá!

Angela : Você está dizendo que ela quer sair deste mundo também?

Koren : ... isso já não importa para mim... Eu estou cansado... e não tenho mais forças...

Koren : Maldito Duran... Nunca pensei que ele conseguiria a Espada de Mana!

Koren : ...adeus Angela... o meu único consolo é que você ficará presa para sempre neste mundo!

Koren : Com o tempo você começará a sentir uma dor insuportavel a todo momento! Pois essa é a puniçao para

quem vive neste mundo !

There are also few Portuguese dialogs when you take the ship the second time,on a few Mana Statues,and when you take Canon Travel to go in Sand Garden there is a sentence to translate if i have a good memory =)

Oh . . . I've already translated those. You must be playing the first version. I've since updated the game and the current version has all of those translated, I think. Thanks, though!

EDIT: Never mind. You're right. I forgot that the dialog plays out the same as in the beginning. Thanks for pointing that out!

thank you! without you i can't play this game =) i think you have all the English dialogs right? what do you think if i translate all in French? But i don't know if there are a lot of French fan of "Mana World" in France it's only Call Of Duty or Halo or Counter Strike...

I'm sure there are plenty of French fans who would love to play the Memories of Mana games. If you have a working knowledge of RPG Maker XP, I say go for it. I know that the creator (MogHunter) would approve. The trickiest part for me was not necessarily the translating of the actual words, but finding the words within the programming. Of course, now that I have found them, I can advise those who are looking to translate these fantastic games into other languages. There seems to be a large Mana following in Germany, so if any German speakers out there want to take on that project, let me know.
