What's your place like?
Re: What's your place like?
I would take a photo of my room but there is really nothing interesting except for the amount of consoles and the NGE wallscroll... XD

Wow...so organized.Tsurayu wrote:I'm game. Pics are from a couple of months ago, but everything is unchanged with the exception of getting a new computer in that amount of time:
Re: What's your place like?
ok, hello... actually got some pictures now as I just bought a new mac today...
First picture is my main setup, it's a HP Elite (intel i7, 8gb ram), two Samsung 24 inch monitors (connected to the HP). Now by its side is my new 27 inch iMac I'm actually finding it real hard to find a good spot for the imac, and this spot is just temporary for it it's not comfy at all. I'll have to buy more furniture again. (yes! I have cable hell, I will hide them eventually)

My laptop... just to watch stuff like animes, msn and facebook in bed xD (seems i'm always connected >.< (but it's not true xDD )). It's another HP, but this is a 17 inch Pavilion.

My livingroom/htpc place. This is a 42 inch TV, 5.1 surround system. The remote you see controls everything (tv, amp, pc and so on, it's those logitech harmony). Under the tv i usually have a ps3 and a wii, but both are visiting my littlebrother right now, i never play those anyways.

Ok, so close up on the HTPC, this is built by me bought all the parts and chassi and all, it's a 0 db pc, so no sound whatsoever, SSD hdd to keep the sound to 0db. No fans and so on... a dvd-box is actually higher. No windows on this, it uses XBMC (native, no other OS).

So here in the almost bottom left corner is my router and my NAS unit with 2TB, above it, in the "white box", inside there is 2 more HDD of 1TB each, making it 4TB of space for my HTPC viewing goodies and also connecting all my other pcs together to share space

Well... i tried making it as short as possible, still became pretty long. Also it's like soon 1am... so my english is terrible
Sorry

Re: What's your place like?
My ground floor.
- living room
- kitchen (with lunch)
- computerspot
- front and back garden in view.
- cage with 2 guinnea pigs
My computer stuff.

Also got a wii and a dvd player. connected to a very old tv. We are thinking about buying a 40"inch flatscreen tv, and even thought the prices were fine three years ago. these days these tv's cost nothing.. but never bought one since we do not watch that much television.
On the couch you can find my laptop. It's a 4 year old HP nx7400 (RH402ET), running windows 7 x64 just fine. (dual core 1.83ghz, 2gb ddr2 667 ram, 100gb hdd). I use it to watch anime series, work, and general internet stuff. It's not a gaming laptop, but it was a right choice since it is still running fine after 4 years of work.
got a first and second floor as well.
