I decided to post some 'old' stuff. This is an experimental piece, practice for a school project. Its style is between my old, hard-edged, smooth, cartoony stuff, and my new, edgy stuff, which is reminiscent of McFarlane. Not as happy with it as I was, but meh, good enough.

Dip pen on paper.

The textures on the clothes and hair are just insane. That's really sweet looking there.

The cape in particular looks really good, and the shoe straps (the closest oot looks kinda weird though), and the belt and geez man, the whole thing.
I like the way the metal shoulder things turned out, the shading on them is very subtle, but it comes off as metal really well. Chestplate didn't have the same effect, but I can still tell it's supposed to be mettalic. I think the black part got broken up too much on it a bit.

This is really cool.

My only complaint is he looks kinda funny holding his sword like that, like he's kinda zoned out just stepping on that little mound there, not thinking about what's going on.
But that's kinda what the character is supposed to be like right?
Kind of a zoned out barbarian if I remember?

I absolutely love it.
I pretty much don't have much to crit after Shoe had put words in my mouth for me.
But if this were to ever get coloured and made into a higher resolution, it'd be my background...
*wink wink nudge nudge* ;)
