FFA prototype cartridge

There's a video on YouTube purporting to be footage from a FFA prototype cartridge, but the game looks identical to me... do you guys notice any interesting differences?

Consideration: Why would there be an English prototype? I'd expect any prototypes to be in Japanese, since they wouldn't go through the localisation effort at that stage.
