Some SoM artwork

There is a local video game related art show here in Vancouver that will be showcasing artwork from retro video games. I'm trying to get a spot to show and maybe sell some artwork. I've obviously chosen to do art from Secret of Mana & I wanted to post stuff here as I get them done, maybe get some feedback and suggestions.

You should do all of the SoM enemies in that style!

I am about 80% sure that I'm going to go with the paper cut-outs. I'm going to do 4 small picture frames of all 4 seasons from Upperland, kind of 3D within a small picture frame. I dunno, we'll see if it works or not!

Here's a page of sketches out of a handfull.
I ended up running out of time so I'm keeping it simple and just doing a drawing. Deadline is... tomorrow! Hehe

Haha, I love how expressive it is.
Maybe got some issues with the leaves in the foreground seeming like they're in the back due to the color, but that's really cool!
Nice touch with the mushboom heart on the mushrooms.

I animate for a living, and make my own cartoons (or try to)
I'm still tweaking this, I'll be removing the tree from behind Randi (its a bit cluttered) & possibly changing some colors a bit.
