Sorry for any inconvenience!
Well guys, I’m gonna be heading back home today to the land of dial-up internet connection. That means I’m not going to really have a way to do any real updates to the site, unless I was willing to wait three years for it to happen. And honestly, I’ve been spoiled by this super fast internet. So fast that when a page doesn’t load in two seconds flat it means you forgot to pay the internet bill. For like three months. Whoops.
I won’t be doing anymore big updates for now, but I’ll still be hanging around on the forums until I leave for Japan.
Anyways, I’ve got three updates for you today. Read on to see what I’ve got for you.
The Bestiary now contains every enemy from FFA to LoM!
There is a Special Behind the Scenes look at how new Mana games are made!
There is also a new Seikens Stories comic!
Bestiary Update
First off, some information about the good ol’ Bestiary. I’d like to thank RRFish for giving me the idea to start this thing, it was a seriously awesome idea. So Reverend Rumble Fish, wherever you are right now, thanks for the sweeto idea man. Hope you like what it turned into!
A few monsters lost their pages: Axebeaks are with the Birds now, Minotaurs are with Beasts, Xorn are with Oddballs, and Centaurs are with Undead (They were all undead Centaurs in LoM).
The newest sections are Beasts, Reptiles and Elemental Enemies.
Whatever Wednesday — Behind the Scenes
Today I have something very special for you! I’ve got a behind-the-scenes look at how new Mana games are being developed! Check these images out!
In this first picture we can see that they’ve got the old games ready to get some ideas from. You can also see the machine used to create the games! Wow!
Picture One
There it goes! All the good ideas from the old games are added in… all they’ve got to do is push that button to make something great!
Picture Two
Oh no! Something must be off…
Picture Three
I guess they messed up on the ingredients. They forgot to polish it and add in some love!
Hope you liked that humorous take on how the games are made, haha. Seriously, it kind of feels like that is what they are doing… throwing all the ideas together and just hoping something turns out right…
No games were harmed in the making of this feature. And for those of you wondering; Yes, that is an Icee poster in the back there. Our kitchen is awesome. Kinda dirty though.
Seikens Stories — Good Idea
This one turned out looking kind of weird… I drew it on my tablet instead of drawing it on paper and then scanning it… I don’t think I will do that again.

I daren’t ask what the idea would be in case even mention of it causes a BSOD on my machine, and I’m right in the middle of something too.

And I think people must have missed the development process (oh dear, the puns!).
