Sorry for any inconvenience!
Alrighty, for this week’s Mana Music Monday I’ve got three tracks for you to check out. The first two tracks, Repeating Eternity and Legend are from Secret of Mana, and the third one, Return to Forever, is the end credit music from Seiken Densetsu 3. All of these tracks were composed by Hiroki Kikuta.

(Dunno why this thing is so tall, maybe Kassidy knows how to fix it?)
This is pretty neat here, if you listen to Repeating Eternity and Legend they both sound pretty similar, now listen to Return to Forever and BAM! Totally Repeating Eternity and Legend put together. I wonder why Kikuta decided to keep these tracks from Secret of Mana, and incorporate them into Seiken Densetsu 3 as the end theme.
On some of the next MMM updates we’ll explore more tunes that made the transition from SoM to SD3 and see how it all went down. Enjoy!
Also, I’ve forgotten the thing that lets my camera memory card hook into my computer, so I can’t work on the Merchandise section for a while. The Bestiary is gonna take a lot of work, so my updates might be coming pretty slow.

Well, I’ve noticed that some songs do share similar themes from Secret of Mana, but I’ve never noticed this one. I should have cause the name Legend Forever is a fusion of the two song names pretty much.
Eternity = Forever
Yeah… that stuff.
Anyways, good update.

Have you noticed that in Seiken Densetsu 3, Sacrifice Parts 1, 2, and 3 [the end boss themes], are all reminiscent of Secret of Mana’s The Oracle [the theme from the fight with Thanatos / Dark Lich]?
I’m listening to the three you mention, and yeah, now that you point it out i do hear that. Nifty. ^_^
Granted, i haven’t gotten to try the newest ones [lacking a ds], but it seems to me that of all the series so far, these two games were the closest to each other, in terms of storyline, abilities, overall gameplay, and of course, musics. Also, i loves them best. =D
