Sorry for any inconvenience!
Well I went to the doctor and he “Ooh, eeh, ooh ah ah, ting tang walla walla bing bang”, then gave me some tablets that… well, the only way to describe the taste is that if I were ever to find out what rotten mushboom tasted like (and I hope I never do), this would be exactly the same. Needless to say, I can now at least close my eyes without getting dizzy.
So for this Music Monday it’s not going to be Mana Music… Instead, it’s Mana-related. A while back we mentioned a collaboration taking place for the soundtrack of Concerto Gate, Square-Enix’s new MMORPG, between Kenji Ito and Hiroki Kikuta. Well, the beta came out a while ago, so I thought I would bring you a sample track from it.

Wow, that sounds insanely awesome!
You can definitely hear both of their styles in there. The piano reminds me of both of them, the rocking and the strings are so Kenji Ito, and the bass line is definitely Hiroki Kikuta.
Man, gonna have to get this soundtrack, this is wonderful!

I’ll bring more of this next week. Also note that this is from the beta, so the final release may have a higher quality soundtrack still.

Yeah, I pretty much have the same feeling as Sheexy. I always felt it was fun to pick out different musicians from the song.
Anyways, I’m pretty much rejoicing that Kikuta’s back, and he might end up composing a Mana game or two in the future.
Kikuta’s defeintely some of my favorite soundtracks ever.
