So it is summertime as you all know, and some of the baddies from the Seiken Densetsu series got bored and went searching for summer jobs to hold them over until the next Seiken Densetsu game takes off. Job searching was hard, but a whole bunch of baddies managed to find jobs in oldschool NES games. Why don’t you click the “Read more” thingy to check out how they are doing.

In this first picture we can see that the Mushbooms found themselves right at home in the Mushboom Kingdom! Bowser gave the Turtle Knights and Iffish jobs as well. Here they can look forward to long hours of moving back and forth in the same place, maybe walking off a cliff, and usually getting stomped or flamed by a plumber.

The Pakkun Lizard was the perfect guy to get a job in Bubble Bobble, they like their little lizards. The Pakkun Babies got to share in on the job by playing the baddies, and I guess the Eggatrices did too, but I really don’t think they know what they are doing half the time. I bet the Pakkun Lizard doesn’t like this job much though, instead of getting to swallow people he has to spit at them. But that’s the thing about summer jobs, they usually aren’t that much fun.
Though I guess spitting at stuff and getting paid would be pretty cool.
I’m gonna go check the classifieds…

Mech Rider got a good job! Check him out there, racing it up in Excite Bike!

Oh, I spoke too soon, racing in Excite Bike must just be his hobby, here is his real summer job:

Man, being the Paper Boy, that has gotta suck. All those innocent pedestrians who are for some reason out to kill you, so they aren’t really that innocent at all… At least he can fight back with rockets instead of just chunking paper like the last guy they hired. I hear he died.

Grell ended up being perfect for the job of filling in for Metroids! Blats ended up getting the job of the little space bats that try to fall on you, and Molebears were perfect for crawling around on the job.

And finally, what would this update be without a look at how our favorite little baddies are doing? Rabites ended up being the perfect substitute for Tektites, jumping around is one of the things they are the best at doing.

As for the other enemies… I guess they are homeless now or something.
