Sorry for any inconvenience!

One of the members in the forum got contact with Hiroki Kikuta, the composer of Secret of Mana music. Kikuta-san said that he is hoping a remake of any of the older games in the series. If this mail conversation is true or not it can be questionable. I hope its not the latter one

Hi Nick

I am very glad to have a fan mail from you. St. Louis. It is a Jazz town,
isn’t it !
I can not tell you any good news about remaking Seiken Densetsu series, but
I hope it too.
Play a music and have a good time!

Hiroki Kikuta

Thanks Nick

Uhm, are you sure it’s such a good idea to quote the contents of a private email conversation literally? It would be nicer just to report the important part.

As to the whole message, I did post it on the forum. If he were to reveal any information about a new Mana game, then I wouldn’t have revealed content from that as that was supposed to be kept a secret. There’s nothing incriminating about what he said, so I don’t think it will be harmful to his career at all.

If he wants to take it down, I personally don’t care since this whole situation is pretty awesome.

I don’t understand why everyone is getting so excited about this . . . All I see is a generic response anyone in his position would give. He doesn’t have any knowlege about any such remakes. He’s just saying (as far as I can read) that he’s not opposed to the idea. But he hasn’t heard anything about it, apparently.

Well, I’m pretty sure this will have no affect on the Mana series at all, but it’s pretty exciting when I major player of the best selling Mana game give you an email. That’s how I personally see it.

I have to agree with you Bastian.

The title of this post is a bit misleading, he’s just saying that he hopes one happens not that one actually is possibly happening.
