Various Bee or Wasp enemies have appeared throughout the Seiken Densetsu series. Normally they are very similar to real bugs, but in SD3 there was a group of part-human part-insect Lady Bees. Over the years the Buzz Bees in SoM have phased out to be replaced by the Assassin Bugs from SD3.

Killer Bee

Killer Bees are found in the woods surrounding Wendel and are paired with Orcs. They fly around the screen at high speeds and will occasionally stop in one spot.

SoM

In SoM Bees are classified as Insects.

Buzz Bee / Bee Bee (J)

Buzz Bees are mainly found in and around Gaia’s Navel but they can also be found in the Haunted Woods. They fly around and shoot their stinger out to attack and poison you. There is one unlucky spawning spot for the Buzz Bees which will result in you always landing on and usually killing one of them if you use Cannon Travel to deliver yourself to Gaia’s Navel. Buzz Bees are supposedly the enemies which Royal Jam comes from.

Bomb Bee

These darker brown bugs are found along the path to the Palace of Darkness and Joch’s Cave outside of Mandala. They attack in the same way as their cousins, but they also have the ability to cast exploder on you.

Dragon Fly

Dragon Flies live in the Crystal Desert and are found alongside Bulettes. They fight by shooting poison spray.

SD3

In SD3 Bugs are classified as Insects.

Assassin Bug

These Bugs are found in the Molebear Highlands as well as the Gold Road and in the battle with Gildervine. They use a Poison Sting attack which has a high chance of poisoning you. Their eyes can be used to cast Poison Bubble on an enemy.

Ruster Bug

Ruster Bugs share the Ruster name with another group of Seiken Densetsu enemies, the Ticks. These bugs can be found in the Jungle of Illusion as well as the Glass Desert. They have a Poisonous Pinch attack and can also shoot out a Rust Spray which will lower the defense of anyone it hits.

LoM

In LoM Stinger Bugs are classified as an Arthropod.

Stinger Bug / Assassin Bug (J)

These bugs are found in many different places througout the world such as Luon Highway or Lake Kilma. They attack with their large scythe claws or by stinging you. As a pet they will help to protect you from being poisoned.

SD3

In SD3 Lady Bees are classified as Insects.

Gal Bee

These female bees are found in the Molebear Highland. They are similar to Riesz’s Amazoness class and share the same Whirlwhind technique with her.

Lady Bee

Lady Bees live in the Lampflower Forest and are similar to Reisz’s Valkyrie class. Like Riesz they can use Power Up, Protect Up, Mind Up and Speed Up making them very powerful enemies in a group. They also have the Vaccuum Surge Spear technique that the Valkyrie class has. Their eyes can be used to cast Protect Down on an enemy.

Queen Bee

Queen Bees are found in the Forest of Wonder as well as in a forest scene in the Mirage Palace. They are similar to Riesz’s Vanadis class and have all the same power up spells as the Lady Bee. They have a Summon Bee Bee attack which will cause Assassin Bugs to swarm the screen and damage everyone. The Star Shot Spear technique they share with Riesz cannot be avoided. These are the enemies which create the Honey Drink.
