Bestiary - Flower

These Flowers are usually pink and attack by biting with the modified petals on their single large flower. They usually have access to many sorts of status effecting attacks.

Death Flower

Death Flowers appear paired with Grells in the Swamplands near Kett’s Inn. They walk around the screen and try to bite you.

In SoM Flowers are classified as Plants.

Lullabud / Death Flower (J)

These pink flowers appear around the Potos, Pandora and Gaia’s Navel area. Before they start fighting they will appear very similar to flowers in the area which you can cut with a sword or axe. They have a poisonous bite and can cast Sleep Flower on you, hence their American name.

Trap Flower / Blood Pansy

Trap Flowers live on the mountain path outside of Mandala. They are very similar to Lullabuds and can do anything they can. They can also cast HP Absorb on you.

In LoM Lullabuds are classified as Plants.

Lullabud / Bud Flower (J)

In LoM Lullabuds returned looking very strange. Their flower was replaced with a large bud resembling a beak and they had legs and tail they could whip you with. Three of them must be defeated in order to free Trent in your orchard. As a pet they will increase your defense against other Plants.

Sword of Mana

Death Flora / Death Flower (J)

In SwoM these flowers receive a small makeover. They look similar to their original form but their beak is much more pronounced. It can attack with a bite, by sprinkling pollen with a 12% chance to poison, and by casting Dryad magic in a circle.

Killer Pansy / Dread Pansy (J)

These are simply stronger versions of Death Flora.

Children of Mana

Death Flora / Death Flower (J)

These flowers are the same as they were in SwoM but they no longer have a Dryad attack.
