I think it's that blue alien movie. Sai wants to go see it; although since we're both blessed with the astonishing vision of your standard garden mole 3D glasses do little but make us want to light things on fire.

It does look pretty cool though. I bet it won't take long for people to start making Eiffel65 AMVs to it :D

The weather here has been really bad so I've been trapped in my house for quite some time.

I still have a refund ticket from when I walked out of GI Joe. I think if it clears up here I may go see it.

Looks like one of the most idiotic movies ever. The art design is *@#$ing terrible. There's no way in hell I'll ever see this (it doesn't help that I think James Cameron is a colossal tool and that I think 3D movies are a sophomoric gimmick that needs to die).

Eeeh, I'm kinda suspicious about this movie. I've heard a lot of mixed things, but some great reviews from people I generally trust have told me that this is a must see. I'm going to go see it sometime in the next few days, so I'll definitely be back here.

from the looks of it, it looks amazing, but the story? Hrm...

Edit: Went and saw it in 3D the other day... Meh. The Na'vi were cute and some of the design was beautiful, but all of the concepts in the story seemed borrowed from one place or another and meshed together to create something mediocre.

Also some of the acting was appauling!

The 3D was pretty boring too, I actually found the previews of other movies more interesting than the actual movie, and some of the layers were bad quality and looked really slapped together.

They could have done so much better.

I have seen it. Their work is fair. As always, I have seen some certain point that inexplicitly this movie wants to tell. I won't tell them yet unless you tell first. Can you see what I have seen?

Well... after a while you notice things. Specially when others tell you or you read in on the web.

I myself don't really care about the race card nor the sexual stereotype card.

But one thing I been finding interesting lately is how people compare Avatar to cartoons like FernGully and Pocahontas (disney) because after making my own little research here and there (i've seen both cartoons as a child), it is totally true, the movie is just like those cartoons or a combination of both.

I still like Avatar, i'm not talking against the movie at all ^^ but it's fun to analyse.

oh and i found this on the web... so true :P

You two have done very well, comrade Kimiko and Ailise. But what I had seen beside Kimiko's finding is the moral lessons. Race problem is one thing we have yet to solve, but it shall never ever forever be solved if one's morality is no less than (sorry) animal.
