Far from a fairy tale

Post by Hellfunk »

I don't know if any of you are familiar with Hiroki Kikuta's solo work (he's the guy who wrote Secret of Mana music, as well as SD3 as far as I know) if you don't, I encourage you to look him up on youtube, I uploaded tons of his music on my alternate account. Anyways, I did a cover of one of his songs off of the album Alphabet Planet, enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFAfVpTjPx4

Also, for anyone curious, I finished my double cd demo (Hellfunk, I have many other projects as well). My two biggest influences are Hiroki Kikuta and Forgotten Woods, trying to get that perfect blend of magical forest music, and still having a bit of actual metal here and there. http://soundcloud.com/elamb87/sets/hell ... orest-the/

Been listening to your stuff for a little while now, didn't see it when it was first posted I guess.

Anyway, really reminds me of Hiroki Kikuta's stuff. I think you did a neat job with it, I really like "The Calm Before" and "The Storm" so far. Some of the vocal stuff is kinda weird to me, but a lot of it works it seems.

These are neat, thanks for sharing.
