The next mana game in a long time - where to start?

Hi All,
I have not played any Mana game after Seiken Densetsu 3 on the SNES. Yes, shame on me.
But I do want to get into the series again
. Should I first start with older titles like Trials of Mana (remake) and Legend of Mana, or dive right into Echoes of Mana?
The consoles I have are PS1, PS2, PS3, NES, SNES, Switch.
I understand that -sadly- Visions of Mana will not be released on Switch.
