Yeah, the whole thing with Amanda really surprised me too the first time I played. Never expected a Gameboy game to be as emotional as FFA was.

I was also shocked. I mean... I haven't even ever played a SNES or N64 or GameCube era game that made you actually kill your friend. I was floored when that happened. And the article's author is right, it's made all the more powerful by having you actually do the button press to make that horrible event happen. Powerful.
