Recommendation:
Pages and Cards: 64 pages, Cards 1-22 and 2 rule cards
Summary: Well this is certainly an interesting item! This nifty set includes five things; a plastic cover, a sleeve, a book, a sticker sheet and a folder of cards. The book gives an introduction to the story, characters and gameplay. It has some really nice illustrations of various classes, enemies and weapons. The sticker sheet has little stickers of the characters, crests and various other goodies. These stickers are meant to be placed onto the plastic folder that houses a collection of cards which have some sort of game associated with them. The cards all have very nice art and you can read about the game Here.

Seiken Densetsu 3 Advanced Knowledge Guide

Details: ISBN4-87188-807-X
Release Date: 1995
Rarity:
Recommendation:
Pages: 207
Summary: Walkthrough type book. Very lacking in interesting images, but there are some neat chibis of the characters in here that I have never seen anywhere else. If you can read Japanese this could help you, but otherwise it’s just for collectors.

Seiken Densetsu 3 Basic Knowledge Guide

Details: ISBN4-87188-805-3
Release Date: 1995
Rarity:
Recommendation:
Pages: 160
Summary: This is a nice item if you’re looking for some art. Lots of the weapons and armors have nice looking illustrations and there are quite a few items and enemies as well. If you are looking for character illustrations I would recommend the Prolouge book over this, but this one is still pretty good.

Seiken Densetsu 3 Guidebook

Details: ISBN4-87188-231-4
Release Date: 1995
Rarity:
Recommendation:
Pages and Cards: 128 pages, Cards 23 and 24
Summary: Nothing really special here. A few little images are all you’ll really get with this walkthrough book. If you have the Prolouge book I would recommend picking up this guide though, as there are two additional shiny cards in the back of this guide that go with the card game.

Games

Seiken Densetsu 3

Release Date: 1995
Rarity:
Recommendation:
Summary: This is the only way I’ll play Seiken Densetsu 3, through a cartridge. I find it to play a lot nicer than any ROM, so I suggest you get it if you’re serious about the game. Sure it’s all in Japanese, but you know the game well enough anyways, right?

English Seiken Densetsu 3

This does not exist!

If you ever see an English copy of Seiken Densetsu 3 it is not real. No special English test versions exist. If you see an English version of SD3 on a cartridge it is just a fake made by someone who put a translated ROM onto a cartridge. I’ve seen these things sell for upwards at 300 dollars on eBay because of ignorant bidders. Do not be fooled! There is no such thing as a real English version of this game!

Seiken Densetsu ROM

Release Date: ???
Rarity:
Recommendation: N/A
Summary: This is quite a collector’s item here. These SD3 test ROMs were not supposed to be released to the public, but a few have been. They can occasionally be found in auctions or in shops in Japan. Be warned, they don’t come cheap, these things usually go for 300 to 400 dollars.
