What games are you playing?
Re: What games are you playing?
They have released FF3 on the Wii for Virtual Console. Bought it for 900 points and have been playing for four hours already (3hours 59minutes, just reached Figaro Castle to dive under to reach Zozo and get Terra back)

I was playing Terraria a lot. It's pretty fun but you run out of content really fast.
Now I'm playing Just Cause 2, got it for 5 bucks at Gamers Gate. Really fun game, so pretty too. Gonna be playing this one for a long time it seems.

Re: What games are you playing?
My my... what do I play...?
I do play all Seiken Densetsu games for my website I want to upload at 19th October 2011.
That means:
Mystic Quest (known in USA as Final Fantasy Adventure)
Secret of Mana
Secret of Mana 2 (known as Seiken Densetsu 3)
Sword of Mana
Children of Mana
Heroes of Mana
Well... Mystic Quest was the beginning of the great Legend of Mana... And I think to associate with Final Fantasy... I was dissapointed when I've played FFIV... Now I would call it the worst game series ever made... Screw you, Square... <.< The german translation is very funny. Because they didn't translated the name of Dark Lord... See... They're talking just german and then:
Dark Lord: Du meinst, ich muss dem Wasserfall hinaufklettern?
Julius: Gewiss, mein Herr!
Dark Lord: ... [and so on; btw: That's the first conversation between Julius and Dark Lord at the waterfalls]
I got a laughflash... xD They're talking in that old german language (specially Julius) And then there's Dark Lord... Just funny xD.
Secret of Mana... I do have good and bad memories of this game... When I was around... 10, I played it the first time. Then I stuck at Elinees Castle... I couldn't get outside or defeat Spikey tiger... So I made a new file... stuck again... and made a third file, trained until the boy gained 150 HP and killed that damn thing!
After years I've looked after my old SNES and played it again... My memory card like memory lead me through the game and defeated the Mana Beast.
See... the translation is as bad as in Mystic Quest... The sprite became a female imp... It was funny to see "her" to snore... And then... I german TV there's a show called "Lindenstraße". Do you remember the scene with the pot? In the american version the goblins wanted to dance but in the german translation they wanted to watch "Lindenstraße"... And in the Virtual Console Version they wanted to watch a football match... Oh man, we german people do have a great fantasy... ^^
In Secret of Mana 2 were a lot of funny scenes. But you know these scenes, too. But the funniest scene was the conversation between Angela and Duran, who want to hide his porn collection. Oh man... good translation.
In Sword of Mana I can just remember when I've reached the dime tower that this was a mix between english and german... very stupid...
In Children of Mana... was nothing funny as far as I can say... The german translation was very good.
Heroes of Mana wasn't translated into german (that means, that I didn't understand everything) but when D'Kelli said: Roger, Roget! Hehe I did it again! was a funny scene.
But I don't playing the whole time Seiken Densetsu (but... hey good idea... maybe a new record? xD)
I do also play Okami. And this game is very great!
The german translation is... well... Forget that thing... I've found a lot grammar and typing mistakes... But you can understand it... if you can speak german of course...
Because I've played Okami thousands of time do play a game called in Europe Animal Crossing Let's go to the City. I think in the USA it was released as City Folk. Well... the game isn't my type... But somehow i love it. Best game Nintendo released for the Wii system... (you should know that I do hate Twilight Princess... It's more than crap...)
Uhm... well...than the last one I do play is Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World for Wii. Good one at all. A bit short... but thousand times better than that overrated Twilight Princess...
Oh yeah! And I do play the piano of course!^^

Re: What games are you playing?
Diana, that's really neat to hear about the German translations of the game, especially the SoM bit.
Do you by any chance remember what the Veedio's in the city of Mandala said?
Dunno how those are translated, but they're inside the temple in the lofty mountains and they look like crystal orbs.
Just curious as to how those got translated because they are pretty random.
Lately I've been playing Spiral Knights since it's free and a friend bought me a pack of energy and stuff for the game. It's not bad for a free game.

Re: What games are you playing?
I've been playing Mega Man X Collection the last few days.
Just beat X5 last night, and X2 three days ago. I'll probably play the others, at least the first one.
I have LOADS of unplayed games that I need to play. But I'm not sure which to play next. So I'm just playing good ol' Mega Man X games, short and sweet.

Re: What games are you playing?
@Sheexy:
Of course I remember this orbs. I can remember that one of them told you the weather. See, I can post what the orbs saying.
Let's Play Secret of Mana Part 21 German
Note: Those are the german names of the locations:
Schicksalsberge - Lofty Mountains
Destinea - Mandala
Videoorbs - Veedio's
Switch to 3:46. There's the first dialouge box from these orbs. And you can hear, how we german people talk ^^ (I've herad, that german should sound a bit mystierous... Is that so?)
In my case there are funny things they say (I've also played the american version of this game, but never talked to this things, because I know on useless they are... **** ^^" One is talking about a president, isn't it?)
Well, I hope, that I what you want. If you want I can translate them word by word into english... That you can understand, what they say or use something like google translator...
A bad translation is "Monstername ist erledigt!", when you done a critical hit. I thought that the monster do have less HP... Well... That is not the case...

Re: What games are you playing?
Thanks for that link Diana. It seems to me like they are basically just translations of the English SoM stuff from what I could understand.
What did the song one and the president one say exactly though, if you don't mind translating for me.
Still messing around on Spiral Knights, got most of my gear to five star but now I feel like switching armor, that's gonna be costly. XD
