Wow, that's awesome seeing it called Final Fantasy Adventure 2.

Thanks for sharing those last two pictures, they're a great glimpse into the past. Also, the place Flammie is flying over in the last image doesn't look like anywhere on the map as far as I can tell, beta stuff is neat. And look at the weird color kimono bird with the metal crawlers in the first image. Town is kinda strange too. Really fun stuff to see.

I love finding stuff like this about old games. There used to be a site where the wife of one of the producers of FFIII US, talked about how she created Sabin and Edgar. And how she had a very extensive back-story that couldn't get into the game because of time and game memory issues. She kept all the old documents, still!

The last thing I heard about SoM of Mana is that the Main programmer for it, Nasir Gebelli, ran out of a visa to stay in Japan, so the whole 'development environment' had to be be transferred to California in order to finish the game. That supposedly is one of the reason the game feels 'rushed' at the end.

Yes, those scans are great. I love seeing "Final Fantasy Adventure II!" Another interesting thing I saw in those pictures is that all three characters are fighting the Mantis Ant!

Having completed Dawn of Mana on Ultimate and finished all bouts I felt in the mood for some image ripping:

Sometimes I wonder how this game would've have turned out if they simply took a more traditional direction with it.

Those are some beautiful rips. Thanks for sharing!

When we get around to fixing up the Dawn of Mana section in the future, may we have permission to use your rips?

Here are some more, sadly most of them are incomplete:

Of course, that's no problem at all.
More Dawn of Mana rips and some other rips/images from previous games I still had on my HD can be found here.

Sweet, thanks a ton. Never seen anyone rip stuff from the game, it's pretty awesome.

Found this DeviantArtist linked from NeoGAF. He has lots of images inspired by old videogames.
