Tsurayu wrote:Well my dog is dying. She won't eat or drink. She can't get up at all hardly and when she does try to walk across the house she falls down constantly, which is a horrible thing to watch. She can't even go outside so she just keeps having accidents all over herself, and as the hours progress she is struggling more and more to just mover her head or stand up at all.

Worst thing is we can't afford to take her to the vet to put her to sleep, but at least she doesn't seem to be in pain. She isn't whining nor does she seem uncomfortable all things considered. I really don't see her making it till morning at the rate she seems to be digressing. I just hope she dies in her sleep where she is peaceful and not in pain.
Sorry to hear about that. Been there before, so I know what it's like.

Re the fee for putting her down, push comes to shove, take her to the vet, ask them to put her down, and if the price is extorsionate, simply tell them not to bother and that you'll do it yourself with a shotgun. 9/10 times they suddenly drop the price to what it ACTUALLY costs to put an animal down (which is significantly less than their initial asking price).

Well, she died about an hour-and-a-half ago. I was actually asleep, but my dad woke me up and told me. Apparently she suddenly sprawled out on the floor and had her mouth wide open and took a few gasping breaths and that was it, she was dead.

I'm contemplating another pet sometime in the future, but I'm thinking I probably never will again. I wouldn't want to deal with that all over again in another 10-15 years down the road.

Man that really is bad. I'm sure she lived a good life though. Keeping a dog for fifteen years is pretty miraculous to me.

Yeah, I'm really surprised she lasted as long as she did. Though they do say that small dogs live longer. Wonder why that is.

Lets see... pets of mine. I do have pictures of some of my pets.

Bud- Our oldest dog. He's about 10 years old I think
Nugget (No Picture)- SHe's our youngest, about 6 years old and as dumb as dirt
Creampuff- Oldest Cat and meanest thing your ever see
Midnight- Our big guy. He's ALWAYS is outside and loves being outside
Angel- Midnights sister, but scared of her own shadow
Oreo- Weirdest cat your ever see. She loves water, loves being brushed with the wrong side of the brush, will run up the curtins and likes being thrown around. Don't understand her
Buster- My mom's big cat. He doesn't like men but is just huge.
Mama Clone (no picture)- She was a mom a few years ago but she's looks just like Oreo just a bit bigger.

That's all our normal pets we have. My mom loves cats and I'm surpised my dad puts up with it all since he normally hates cats.

I've thought about a cat for a long time. If I ever do decide to get another pet I think I would get a cat.

That's a nice collection of pets you have there, se37. A couple of them(Buster and Angel) are the same names of cats we used to have. They were different color though.

@Kyatto: Main Coon, huh? What do they look like exactly? Maybe you will get pictures?
