I bought it this evening. I traded in some old games I didn't play anymore, and wow. The game is pretty sweet thus far. I am glad that I caved it in and bought it.
I think my next quest will be to get this character up to a nice lvl99, see if the enemies get any more complex. That final elemental subquest was great, ZONES FULL OF CYCLOPS! WOOHOO!
Right now I'm not seeing much diversity, all I see are: Garuda, Tyrannos, Land Dragons, occasionally a turtle or two, some Lesser Demons, LaFunks, and the occasional black crab.
Though I kinda think it is like, a metal crab now? Cause it's more purple.
Not yet, I actually haven't played the last couple of days. I'm giving my eyes a bit of a rest. I have had comments from other people finding the Metal Crab a few times now, and claim to be levelling up rather quickly using it in Star Lake. I've also had someone give me pretty much all the level reqs for Wanderer too, so that's another bit of the list sorted.
