Riddles

Not entirely where I should post this. Even though it is a game it at least requires thought so I figured it would be okay, but if not then obviously someone can lock it and toss into that abyss.

Anyway, just post some riddles and see who can figure them out. Show your mental prowess. XD

Let's see...

It goes up,
but at the same time goes down.
Up towards the sky,
and down towards the ground.
It is present tense and past tense too,
come for a ride just me and you.

What is it?

Yeah, maybe another admin can get one, there are quite a few for PunBB it looks like.
