So I was reading some stuff online and I saw a post about this: http://www.comicsalliance.com/2009/09/2 ... -of-legos/ and I thought these little character builds were really neat, so I decided to try to make the characters from Secret of Mana in the style. I did these in the Lego Digital Designer: http://ldd.lego.com/

Anyway here is how they turned out:

I bet they'd look better in real life, but it would cost nearly 50 dollars to order all the pieces I used to create them.

I created them from left to right.
Randi was probably the easiest out of the group, although I'm not sure about how well I pulled his hair off. From other angles it looks kind of empty. Might give the hair a do-over later.
Purim's hair turned out really nice, you can't really tell but it goes all the way down her back. Her suit was a pain to do because there are pretty much only two usable pink pieces, and one of them was completely useless to me.
Popoie had the same problem as Purim, but not as bad with the light green bricks. The hair turned out surprisingly awesome.
Then I dunno about the Rabite. He looks pretty depressed or angry or something.

If anyone wants the model save file I'll upload it or something.

Here they are in outerspace, if only because I found it hilarious for some reason. The built in backgrounds for the viewer are pretty sucky. Also Randi's shoulders are the wrong color in this one.

Maybe I'll try to do some characters from other games, it didn't take as long as I figured to make these.
I think they turned out ok, nowhere near as awesome as those superhero ones I linked to though.

The Girl and the Sprite for the win! I think fifty bucks would be worth having these. How big will they be? They seem pretty big. If they're small, maybe I'd hold off.

They're actually pretty small, maybe 10-12 blocks tall at most.

The pieces altogether definitely aren't worth 50 bucks in my opinion. D:

Hmmm,

Yeah, fifty dollars now seems REALLY expensive. Still, down the road, perhaps?

Peace,

I had to spend $70.00 + on my Seiken Densetsu 3 cartrige. :* Anyway, thats neat. I am not very good at legos, and it would be pretty neat to see it in real life.
