I have the "what day is it?" problem too, at times. Mostly I just can't remember anything I've done in the last month. Back in the day I used to either ride or walk to public transit for work, and there were days when I couldn't even remember how I'd gotten there in the morning. I'd walk h...

My wife apparently hates Devil Survivor which I bought for her (I didn't realize quite how heavy it was on the SRPG, and she doesn't like SRPGs...), so... I guess I'm playing that now.

Ugh. There's nothing I hate more than students. Don't take it personally, it's just projected self-loathing. I just wish I realized how good I had it when I was a student, and that I could go back and try harder. Me? I go to work every day at a life-sucking hellhole from 8:30 to 5:00, driving in tra...

I refuse to use anything else made by Google. They practically own half the world and it's creepy and I hate it. I use Firefox, but not because I particularly like it. It used to be quite good, but it's fairly bloated now and a lot slower than it used to be. I'd like to switch. I've never been one f...

I never did finish Chains . It was good... I really should. I quite liked Origins , too. Just got around to picking up Homecoming today. I'm expecting awesome. Put in a good number of hours tonight on Batman: Arkham Asylum , and it appears to be about as good as everybody said it was. Feels a lot li...

Sure, we can cater to people who don't have the time or energy to really invest in games, but that doesn't really say anything fabulous about the future of gaming. I really can't agree much with your above post. You can't get a more immersive experience from a movie. You may prefer it, but it isn't ...

My wife and I finished up Haruhi 's first season the other night. I can see why everybody loves it so much. What a strange combination of stuff... and maybe I'm rather far behind the times (no surprise), but I really loved it. No idea how I'll feel about the next season (that video made me laugh), b...

I agree and disagree. I'll just note a couple points, and forgive me if I'm a bit skewed. I read most of your post, but I had to skim a bit. ^-^; Firstly, I agree that the distinction between casual and hardcore is often made too much of. However, it does manage to easily categorize some games. In g...

I think most people don't really understand the Wii, or at least there are misconceptions about it that still exist. Granted I don't use mine all that much, but I don't use any of my consoles that much anymore. I just don't have the time for gaming that I once did. Ultimately, 80% of the games I pla...

The 360 controller is fine but has the worst d-pad in the history of d-pads. How that ever made it through testing is beyond me. Completely effing useless. I'm more a fan of the Sony style, though like all controllers these days, the things are so ungodly expensive I only have the one my PS3 shipped...

Which makes sense. I think the PS2 still outsells the PS3 on a regular basis.

Yeah, I remember the original suit, but I'm talking about offering refunds to every single person who ever bought one of these pieces of crap. And while you might not be able to do anything legally, the fact of the matter is that in another era, people would simply cease to use Microsoft products. T...
