Alright, so I'm hoping that 2006 will be a promising year for the (American) music scene. (Update us on international bands that are doing pretty well too, since there's a lot of us in Europe/Australia!)

Anyways, some pretty good bands this year with expected music are The Mars Volta, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand (A Scottish Group), and of course, The Holy Weird Al.

I'm honestly psyched about 3 of these bands (Not too crazy about Franz yet, but I still think they're pretty good). I really can't wait for Weird Al though, I've been listening to Poodle Hat and Running With Scissors a lot lately, and I would love to see him live for once.

I also would love to see Mars Volta live again (But on their own, as the tour with Red Hot Chili Peppers sold out in two days for Denver, and it's too damn expensive for a huge venue).

But yeah...Are there other pretty good groups/artists out there that are making a 2006 comeback/album at all?
