mkay.
Sometimes i have a weird idea when it comes to computer.
My last project (just a project) was these two pictures: clicky 1 and clicky 2.

But this is my new project, and i've started off with a concept.
The plan is to add a possibility to always have a network available on your computer. To take it along with you. I want the ability to connect several computers to mine and have the ability to create a network of my own with a DHCP function.

anyway, to make it more understandable, i've unscrewed the plate with connectors out of the case, and made it possible to insert it into my computer. Now if someone connects to my PC, i have my own network with DHCP function.:うはwwwwww:

or just look at the pics below. It says more than what i've just said:

EDIT: just ordered the smallest Wireless router available (from a good brand: linksys) for peanuts, completely new. Here it is: this one will fit in as well:

....

If your looking for a LAN connection, why wouldn't you just use a Switch (or go for the ooolllddd technology..HUB) then connect to a Router for the DHCP connection?
Or just hook it straight into a router?
Either way, you'll still have to carry around some CAT-45 and some RJ-45's to connect the clients.

You should add on a robot arm, but this time make sure it doesn't attack you like the last one did.
How many computers do you have that you need to network them together dude?

Or is this for gaming?
Gaming would be fun!

It's for gaming purposes, although it is not neccesary. :P Just fun.
The new imporved robot-arm will not be added until version 1.4.

The concept, which i made right now, is a normal 10/100 switch. I've ordered a WLAN-router for the real deal.
