Hooray! Not only is it Halloween, but Children of Mana is released today!
I can't wait to go pick it up this afternoon and watch my grades plummet!

I saved like 10 bucks on it too cause the guy realized how into the game I was and he let me have a super secret copy of it that was given out weeks before the release! It's got like, "For Display Only" on the box, and I think that is awesome!!!

Hmm, I was wondering how a rom got released that far before the game was out, I've been playing for a week or so, but my save game kept getting erased, grr.
I just love thet you get to pick from four characters, then pick from four color schemes for those characters, I am the Wanderer, and have to say, I love the sword with the slash gem stone thingy. It's a great way to clear the room, not a huge fan of the hammer as it is really clumsy to use. The flail is nice as you can get away from huge swarms pretty easily with it.
I like using the Sword as my main weapon with the flail backing it up. The sonic wave thing is really useful. Like you said, the hammer is really clumsy, but it's pretty fun when you're in a tight spot.
I love the way everything bounces around!

Anyone else notice the faces of the God Beasts from SD3 pop up when you defeat the Malevodons?
I am not sure what they are, I noticed the one looked like a maks with two different colored halves, but wasn't sure what it was, seems to me a Seaiken game had something like that, but can't recall what.
