That show kicked ass! It's amazing how many kids back in the day wished they were him...Kassidy wrote:Captain N: The Game Master. That series has REALLY aged...

I am really upset at myself for not remembering to mention this show.Ailise wrote:Anyone here saw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back in the 90s?
I loved it so much, had tons of Turtles toys and stuff.
And Ghostbusters also! How could I forget that show!
I hate Disney too XDIrishLuiz wrote:I hate, and i've always hated Disney in every aspect, so no disney cartoons to Luiz....
I dunno how I watched all those cartoons when I was little XD
Heh,
Just to mention, I remember checking out a record of the original The Disney Afternoon lineup's theme songs and bouncing around (literally) on my parents' furniture all around the house, singing the song Tsurayu just did. I still think it's a wonderful song (nostalgia coloring my opinion, perhaps). Did you ever YouTube it and listen to all the other languages it's in?

Sincere appologies to those with dial-up!
And as for Duck Tales, my friend and former roommate took vocal lessons from the guy who sings the theme song! Cool, no?
Peace,
manaman
EDIT: I just noticed that I wrote "parent's and not parents'" Ooops! Fixed.

Missed this earlier. It's called Care Bears here.IrishLuiz wrote:oh! Get Along Gang (terrible!), the one with coloured bears that shoot rainbow like rays from their belly,
Apology almost accepted. I've got that song stuck in my head thanks to you XDmanaman wrote:Sincere appologies to those with dial-up!
My grandparents had sattelite when I was little, so when I went to their house I could watch channels I didn't normally get, like Cartoon Network (which just became available in my town no more than 3 years ago, Nick became available maybe 5 or so). That's when I'd watch Swat Kats and other stuff.
I remember later at night Space Ghost: Coast to Coast would come on and I always hated it so much because I didn't understand what it was about, now years later I love the show XD

Hey,
Just to mention it, I do have a pretty odd relationship with Disney. There are a few things I like, but on the whole, I'm really not a fan. I really dislike their movies because they never are accurate to the original story which they base the films off of. I could go on, but I'll leave it at that.
These days, I prefer my cartoons from PBS. Curious George and Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks are at my top. . . . And yes, I'm a grown and married man.
Peace,
manaman
