I don't watch a lot of movies I like at home because my wife is hypersensitive about what we watch and gets nightmares easily. Underway however I get to watch whatever I like.
The Orphanage, Juno, and Butterfly Effect were films I recently enjoyed; all of them were extremely well done. (I also watched RINGU 2; horrible fink movie! Don't see it!) I have also been able to watch a ton of South Park. To be honest it has been great to indulge in these films I would otherwise not watch.
I was wondering if any of you have watched any movies recently that you would recommend? As you can tell from the titles I checked out I have very eclectic tastes. I enjoy a good story, depth, and intelligence.
I'm more into cult classics that are often controversial as they are surprisingly funny and insightful. *has Dogma come to mind*
However, if you haven't see Dead Poets Society that is a classic, good movie. Of course it isn't recent, and might be a little hard to find, but its worth it really.
Dogma was a good movie! Oh was anyone aware they are making a Castlevania movie? I don't know if it'll be good, but it is filmed on location in Romania.

Yay! Finally someone who can appreciate that movie. XD
Dogma was both the type to make you think about how things are in the bible while still being stupid enough to make you promptly forget it if you really don't care. =P

Metatron: So, one day Loki's wiping out all the firstborns of Egypt...
Bethany: Ah, the tenth plague...
Metatron: Tell a person that you're the Metatron and they stare at you blankly; mention something out of a Charlton Heston movie and suddenly everybody's a theology scholar! May I continue uninterrupted?
