The eyes though, they don't blink, and the mouths don't sync too well with the lyrics either.

Now those are much more lifelike. I'm not sure if I like the claymation or the plush doll look better though.

They wink sometimes, actually... the makers of the chibi Haruhi fanvid could've mucked with the face textures a bit more (more expressions) to match the original dance. The faux Motteke! video doesn't follow the actual dance.
