Mash-ups

[Kassidy]

Mashup: song or composition created from the combination of the music from one song with the a cappella from another.

So I've been recently searching down some decent mashups (because there's some good ones out there, and there are some that seriously need to be shot down with a rifle), and actually been finding some pretty good stuff. Notable stuff would be, for example, Dean Gray's "American Edit" which takes the whole of the Green Day album "American Idiot" and mashes it up with several other songs, so figured I'd post a couple of the better findings here, and see what everyone else comes up with also.

They used to play this on the radio, I thought it went together pretty well. Never seen the video so I've got no idea what that's like (on dial up, not waiting forever for this to load XD) This song used to come on the radio EVERY time I rode around with my friend Sanders, he loved the song.
