What does it say there on the bottom of the first sketch? "ta... une légende"? Is that the French title of the game?

'Athanor', is that the French name of Salamando?

But Legend of mana never came out in France, I have the american game, so "toute une légende" is some kind of french subtitle I added!
It means... "a real legend" or something like that, I don't know exactely how to translate this...
Litteraly it means "all a legend", but I don't think that means something in english

Anyway, thank you for your comments! I have no more SD fan arts right now, but soon...

Maybe "wholly/completely a legend" would work as a translation. Sorry, my French is very rusty (last used 16 years ago, and I never was very good at it back then).

Athanor, eh? I wonder if there are any other names that are different in French?

About the other translation , they are other names also :

- Wisp is "Lumina" in secret of mana and "Brindille" in Children of mana
- Sylph is "Sylphide" in Secret of mana and in Children of mana
- Dryad is Dryade with an "e"

Hmm, Brindille. Makes sense. I've actually never thought of playing it through in French. I did make a start on some notes for a Spanish version of my FAQ... but I kinda ended up not having time.

Very nice artwork, it's a cool style. Well done! Look forward to more.

I love em. Especially the Dryad. The Shade and wisp were always my favorites.

I find it interesting on the name they gave the heroine. ^^

Somehow I missed these. I love the inked version of the heroine from LoM and I really like the Illustrator version of the Sprite. Thanks for sharing.
