Good day, friends!
I'm Boo the Gentleman Caller, and I actually found this place through a mutual friend at the Chrono Compendium (if you're a Chronoverse fan and haven't checked it out yet, it's really a fun and exciting place to check out). Anyway, finding that there's a loyal Mana fanbase out there has of course caused me to become quite excited...
My favorite Mana game is without a doubt Secret of Mana... The music, the art, the memories all swirl together into one amazing, nostalgic experience. I still say it's one of the best video games ever made (along with Chrono Trigger and Elder Scrolls: Morrowind)...
Anyway, expect to see me around! Nice to meet you all!

I first played the original Final Fantasy Adventure when it came out on the original Game Boy... Secret of Mana followed suit... I played Legend of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3 (ROM version) and Sword of Mana all around the same time (circa 1999/2000).
I have yet to play Children of Mana, Heroes of Mana, nor Dawn of Mana. Although I do have a DS and a PS2, I don't play video game very much (the woes of being in the adult world of working full-time). I haven't heard much good about any of the World of Mana series, so I haven't really bothered to jump on board to any of those games just yet.
Plus, I have to admit: I'm an old school gamer at heart. I relish the SNES-era of RPGs (thus why I'm so excited about Black Sigil coming out on the DS).
Are there any Mana fan games worth playing out there? I know I was watching the German fangame that was being made with the Half-Life 2 engine, but I saw that it ended up going nowhere.
