Let's make a rap song.

I want to write a song. I can't do it alone. I believe that collectively we can achieve greatness(or something we can look back on and laugh).

We need to set a few rules before starting...

PG13 please so keep language to a minimum.
No whining if your idea doesn't fly.
Be original. Just because you think 50 Cent is cool doesn't mean you should steal his material.
That should be enough for now.

Now before we start writing the song we need to come up with our 'gangsta rap dj name', a background story for our rapper(s), and a general theme to go by for the song (which will lead to a Title). (Seikens rap

)

Everyone will come up with lyrics.
We need someone to come up with a beat as I can't create music.
We also need a at least 4 people rapping.

Be creative. I'm open to all suggestions.

Alright, I'll try to tone the language down - even the asterisk'd stuff as well.

Although, how are you going to do a gangsta-style SOM rap without bad language? That'd be pretty difficult....

Here are a few things I was working on today, didn't have much time though:

This one's too old, it's lookin' kinda shoddy,

Dangit I had more but I forgot.
I think it's kinda funny we both ended up rhyming Shoddy and Body, I made that up hours before I got on the board today. XD

By being more original than rappers? With the entire richness of the English language to hand, why limit ourselves to cussing?

Note that I swear like a good 'un, but as with so many things, there is an important time and place. Gratuitous effing and jeffing gets very old very quickly.

Well that's all very well and fine if you are the very model of a modern major general; but effect and air does tend to suffer a little... or at least I know mine does
