Gonna hold out hope that it will somehow lead to physical cards.
But yeah, seems like something we'll never see just like friends of mana.

Re: Circle of Mana trademarked
Guess we shouldn't be surprised, Square has been shafting us for quite some time with sub-par games and Japanese-only releases.

Guys, at least we are getting FF XIII-3!
Spoiler: show

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! I played through X and attempted X-2 but gave up very, very early on. The whole metro-sexual protagonist thing does not work for me. Give me Cecil or Chrono or even Cloud over these half man-chick things.coqui wrote:Guys, at least we are getting FF XIII-3!Spoiler: show
But that is what's selling, I suppose, and ultimately that's the reason why we're not getting any more Mana: it's not selling. Is it too much of a stretch to think that there are a sufficient number of casual, older, and likely well-funded gamers who would gladly pay full retail price for an RPG that looked, felt and played like the ones we grew up with? Is $60 is too much to spend for a SoM or Chrono Trigger sequel/clone that did little more than pay homage to the golden age of RPGs? A truly engaging story, compelling characters and simplistic, fast gameplay sounds like a money maker to me and something I'd gladly shell out the cash for.

Grrr! I'm so irked. I thought for sure that it was going to be something interesting. If not a brand new game for the 3DS or Wii U or something then at least a remake/port of SD3 ala SoM. :/ And that it would finally officially get localized. Ah well.

Disappointing, but not unexpected - after the debacle that was World of Mana. I guess Square action adventure fans should just shift to the Kingdom Hearts series.
