Riesz, Angela and Carlie, yup an all-girl party. One fighter thats not so strong, one magic attacker and a healer. Thats prolly the worst party ever.
I have to use Angela's magic to easier kill monsters and since I have to spam the menu all the, sometimes I cant even access it due to lag or whatever it is. So I have to heal all the time. I cant depend all time on Riesz as she isnt so strong.
Oh I havent done the first class change yet... So I dunno how strong my party is after the class change

I have to agree, it's looking grim, my friend.

No matter what I am going to the end. Nothing can stop me. Just four spirits left to find

i guess there should be some page on the mainsite, which shows the record of playing the Mana games. your odd party would be on the list. :P

I have a game file with Lise, Angela, and Carlie and I thought it was a pain at first too. I had to spend a lot of time just fighting monsters to level up so I can fight the big baddies without dying right away. I think on that file I'm in the middle of defeating the god-beasts.

I'm not so sure about that... I've made it as far as my final class change (Duran - Paladin) in single-character mode (read: no class changing or equipment upgrades for other party members) - surely it can't be that bad... the only reason I didn't progress beyond my second God-Beast was due to harddrive failure.

I've had that party before...it was pretty hard, until I got Riesz up to her light classes. Her enhancing spells came in handy.

Duran, Kevin, Angela, my favorite team. Not much for healing, but the potential for ass kicking is amazing, especially with Duran as a sword master (dark, light).

It's not like it's impossible, as others have pointed out. Sure, you don't have the heavy hitters (i.e. the boys), but you have 2 spellcasters and a light tank. I'd go to the Black Market and just buy up a bunch of scales and oils; that way you can go Dark with Riesz if you want and still have stat-ups.

It may take a while, but the game is beatable even with a seemingly weak party.

Its kinda hard to do that, since only one of them can actually do damage...

I think I tried that party configuration once... I didn't beat it. Guess I'd better go back and try it.
