The history of seikens
Nonsense. You don't cause trouble or bully people into leaving the board. You've never had to be told to stop misbehaving through threats of banishment, and I seriously doubt anyone here has a problem with you. I'd have to say that you've contributed quite a bit. I'd say you've proven yourself, and you shouldn't need to be told so. If you're in need of counsel, MSN me - seems like you need to talk, and I'd rather do so privately than publicly.Delvar wrote:I wish I were a bigger part of Seikens, unfortunately, I'm one of those members who don't count, or something. Probably because I've only been here 2 years. *sigh* Oh well, I suppose I'm appreciated elsewhere.
I've tried to contribute alot, anyway. That's all that matters?
I've been... around... for many, many years. I discovered the site around '00 or '01 (I think) - it used to be bigger, and rather jumbled. I forget what I registered as back then (I'm not even sure if I did), but I never got around to posting. Then, around '02 or so, I registered as "Sethwick" and began my on-and-off membership at the Seikens in earnest.
It's been rather interesting... especially since Deques had been generous with his bandwith (regarding my image hosting and subsequent off-site linking - 200 hits in a day?! WTF?!?!?) all the while the (old) board had uploady-features. Sadly, DeviantArt is painfully slow and requires thumbnail graphics for GIF files, so my line drawings remain on paper, which is too bad, since I've got some great Mario Bros. stuff that's just itching to be scanned...
I kind of miss the old days... kind of like at the IHC forums, when some clowns started a flame war... good times.

Everyone who has been a member at Seikens has been a big part of it. You know, except for those people who registered and never posted, and maybe some of the ones who posted once or twice, and that Sabin386/Kefka/Vincent/Kyatto guy. What was up with that loser? If he were still around I'd teach him a thing or two.
It's awesome that so many people have stuck around for so long.
