Lucky Star Stop Motion
This guy (or gal, I have not a clue) is in my opinion one of the best up and coming amateur stop motion animators out there at the moment. I do wish that they would do two things though:
-Sort out their lighting source
-Turn off "Automatic Image Adjustment" on their camera
Anyway, they're back at it again, this time with an opening sequence from an anime I have not a clue about, but looks like it is rather bonkers (if the music is anything to go by): Lucky Star. They've used Gunpla toys to reproduce the dance sequence.
The original opening:
The Gunpla Stopmotion version:
There is also a comparison of them that's done rather nicely here:

I've studied up quite a bit on the theory, and I threw together a quick stop-motion animation not long ago as part of an online Eye-Con-Test (see below).

Bahaha, the ending with the shields and stuff on the ground is what made it shine for me.
The rest of it was a boring cardboard box with some drab looking Gundam toys... the editing seemed pretty awesome, and they played true to the original really well.
I didn't really pay attention to the lighting, so I dunno.
Dang it. This is one of those songs that gets into your head and won't go away.
These voices creep me out.
Also, Kassidy, got any tips for stop motion? (Capturing the images basically and such) My friends and I tried some LEGO stuff a long time ago but we sucked at it.
EDIT: Didn't notice your second links until now.
Saw a few seconds of the first one and gave up.
Not sure if I want to watch one that had more effort put into it, haha.
Second link not clicked XD

OK guys, you remember the Rockman version of Hare Hare Yukai from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu? Well I just kinda randomly put "megaman lucky star" in Youtube and guess what bloody well came up!
Just WAY too good to miss.
And on top of it all they mixed in a segment from Bombman's Stage Theme (MM1) during the bit where they're just standing around.
What will they think of next...
