So guys I am totally on TV in Japan as of today.
Kinda hard to miss me in the commerical, I'm the guy getting killed.

I don't even survive a few seconds into the thing before I'm gone. But I make those few seconds shine, why, that scream is up there with the Wilhelm Scream I tell you.
The sword sound effects make me laugh every time I watch this, those things were made of balsa wood!
They edited out me hitting the ground, aww man, that was like the best part of the thing.
None of the other guys in my town made the cut sadly.
Woo, I am on TV in Japan!

Inuyama, little place about 30~40 minutes from Nagoya.
They've got the oldest castle in Japan there, that's the one behind me in the sword fight. I lived like three blocks from that place.
In my opinion Inuyama is one of the most interesting little towns you could end up in in Japan. They've got the castle, a river where they do Ukai (fishing with cormorants) and apparently a lot of food according to the video XD
Most of the houses there near the castle are over 100 years old, and nearly every one of them has a shop in front with tons of interesting stuff.
If you watch much TV in Japan watch Tokai TV for me Magus, lemme know if you see this commercial XD
And if you by some twist of fate end up in Inuyama lemme know so you could say hi to my host mom for me XD

Most television in Japan is regional, aside from NHK, Fuji, Asahi、and maybe a couple more networks. I do know I don't get Tokai in the Kanto region, unfortunately.
And that's the true shame, because aside from the ghost towns which were originally "New Towns" (attempted utopias where a bunch of young families were gathered into high-rise apartments where there weren't really any other incentive to live there), many small towns and villages in Japan are great places to visit. Well, aside from the occasional tropical storm or earthquake.
I guess Inuyama wasn't an industrial city, since most of its houses survived WW2.
