Rare Pet eggs?

I vanquished uber monsters (monsters that have a golden radiant glow) in Hard mode but I've been wandering. Will they spawn if you wait long enough or can you find them in special spots in a certain area of a level in "Dawn of Mana" on Hard or Ultimate? For example I found one in a room I accidentally discovered after stepping on this switch in Chapter 3 where Keldric boards the ship Stroud is on. He was in this really small room that looked like the captains chambers the fight didn't really last long because of how terrible the AI is. I just stood on the table and shot at him until he was just about dead and he tried to attack me but it failed and he died. XD
