Details: ISBN4-87188-230-6
Release Date: 1993
Rarity:
Recommendation:
Pages: 176
Summary: If you could read Japanese this would be an amazing walkthrough. It links together story details for you and has lots of little bits of information everywhere. There are a few cute chibi images of a few characters and a foldout map and reference, but this is basically just a walkthrough guide. If you want pretty pictures go for one of the other Japanese guides.

Rarity:
Recommendation:
Pages: 144
Summary: Now this is the guide to get. This guide contains illustrations of each and every armor, weapon and item you encounter in the game. It also has some nice character images. This is definitely the guide for people who love art. The enemy section is a little lacking however, all of the enemies are just represented as sprites.

Issues Rarity:
Recommendation:
Poster Rarity:
Recommendation:
Summary: The issues are kind of fun, they’re a nice little trip down nostalgia lane. Issue 54 has the special cover and a small intro to the game, the rest have a game guide, weapons and armor illustrations and some very interesting illustrations done by Nintendo. The poster is pretty neat to have hanging around. For unknown reasons there is a red dragon flying in front of the Mana Tree. Weird.

Summary: Soundtrack information. Ok… the cover has a praying angel and an old person in a diaper… well, at least the music is as awesome as the case is weird. Definitely get this if you’re into the music from Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3, this is a really wild musical adventure.

Games

Secret of Mana – Japanese

Release Date: 1993
Rarity:
Recommendation:
Summary: It is the game in Japanese. The box is a lot cooler than the American one. I managed to find an empty box in Japan for like 30 cents, so if you can get the box you might as well. Nothing really interesting as far as inserts go.

Release Date: 1993
Game and Box Rarity:

Inserts Rarity:
Recommendation:
Summary: Buy this game if you own a Super Nintendo! Do it now! Tracking down a complete copy is really hard to do. I am missing the guide insert myself. The map insert is really hard to find, but it makes for an awesome poster if you can get it.

Secret of Mana – The Rest

Summary: Um, collect these if you want to, or if you speak the language. That huge box is the German version, it is huge because it had a guidebook with it.
