What is this?  A Bestiary Update done on the correct day of the week?  Madness!  Too bad it is only an hour into Saturday, haha.  Might as well count this as Friday…
Anyways, check that out.  Five new articles to read!

Ok, so that is a lie.  New articles include Bats, Cones, Crawlers and Flowers.  The fifth “new” one is just the Sword enemies split apart from the Living Objects page.  I figure the enemies have been in every game, they deserve their own page.  Also, the FFA Boss page is gone, I’m reworking that idea.

I’d like to extend a thank you to SixHeadedDog from the forums for helping me fix up some of the stuff in the Bestiary!  Thanks man!

Also, you can’t visit the About page.  I had a fight with it and I won.
Or lost, depends on how you look at it.

Pumpkins, Ghosts, Pakkun Lizards and Mages now reside within the awesome walls of the Bestiary.  Cool.

Also, the FFA boss page is going to be coming down soon.  Boss updates on Tuesday are a thing of the past, all the rest of the bosses will find themselves lumped in with other various groups.  It’ll all work out I swear.

Guys, here is the boss update for this week.  One day early because I’ve got stuff to do tomorrow.  It’s Spring Break you know.

Now you can read about Axebeaks, Liches and FFA bosses that don’t fit in anywhere else.

Well everyone, I’ve got my computer back.  I got it back too late though, and I only had enough time to add Zombies into it and go back and add all of the Japanese names for the enemies if they differed in Legend of Mana.  The Arch Demon was missing from the demon page as well, so I added that guy in.

I’ll get this Bestiary back up and rolling next week, it is almost finished!

… and then I have to add Dawn of Mana and Heroes of Mana information…

Early again.

Chess Knights, Demons, Succubi and Werewolves are now in the Bestiary.  The Demon page as well as the Living Objects page give good examples of what I am going to do with enemies who don’t fit in any main group.  Instead of having “Various FFA/SoM/SD3/LoM” sections I will just have basic Plant sections or basic Fish sections which will contain links to all of the already finished enemy sections as well as house information on the enemies that don’t really deserve their own page.

Also, I have to send my computer in for repairs next week so I am not going to be able to do the upcoming Tuesday or Saturday Bestiary updates.  I am not sure when I will get my computer back, but I hope we will not miss more updates than that.

Four new boss groups have been added into the Bestiary.  Check out the Du’ Monster family, Jewel Beasts and Lord of Jewels, Mantis Ants and Vampires!

With that said, I’m going to list off the pages I have yet to add.  I am kind of surprised, I’m actually getting pretty close to having this thing finished!
Enemy Groups- Chess Knights, Demons, Werewolves, Succubus, Zombies, Pumpkins, Mages, Pakkun Family, Ghosts, Cones, Flowers, Bats, Crawlers, Skeletons, Mummies, Springballs, Sea Dragons, Scorpions, Kimono Birds, Machine Golems, Various FFA Enemies, Various SoM Enemies, Various SD3 Enemies, Various LoM Enemies
Boss Groups- Lich, Axe Beaks, Various FFA/Swom Bosses, Various SoM Bosses, Various SD3 Bosses, Various LoM Bosses

The “Various” groups will contain all enemies and bosses that don’t really fall into a big main group.

Now you can expand your Seiken Densetsu enemy knowledge to include Bees, Ducks, Various Living Objects and Tomato Men.  Awesome.  Also, I’d like to point out that THE HAND OF FATE from the Seiken Densetsu series now points out the newest additions to the list, since it is getting really big now.  I’ve gotta come up with a better index for it.

Update is early because I am going to a friend’s house to play Super Nintendo ALL WEEKEND.  I suggest you do the same.

Now you can come to Seikens and expect to see a few new entries about boss enemies every Tuesday.  I will try to keep it at around four bosses, but if one of the boss entries is big (As in the case of the Godbeasts) I will drop the number down to three or so.

Basilisks, Grell, Mimics and Sahagin can now be found in the Bestiary.  I have also added the Japanese names of Secret of Mana enemies to the list of monsters, but only if they were different.  Also, if I couldn’t figure out what the Japanese name was I put the translated Katakana after the name as well as (J?) so that maybe someone can help me figure them out.

Happy Groundhog Day!  In a strange coincidence, the update for today includes Molebears and Pebblers.  How weird is that?  I’m getting this up early again because I totally forgot I’m going to an Anime Convention this weekend.  You can also find Griffin Hands, Eyes and Crabs in the Bestiary now.  A little update on the sections: all of the SwoM and CoM information can be found in the main summary at the top of the enemy section, and now it mentions what different parts of enemies (claws, oils, etc.) will do if you use them in SD3.

Also, seeing that I’m just picking the enemies I update at random, I’ll take any enemy requests I get.  Just let me know what you want to see on the board, and you can read about it in the next update!
